Credit repair to buy a house — mortgage-ready, on your timeline.

A mortgage is the one approval where a few points on your score change the next 30 years of payments. FHA lenders generally require 580; conventional loans start at 620 and price much better above 680 and 740. We get your reports clean and accurate before a lender pulls them.

Questions, answered honestly.

What credit score do you need to buy a house?

FHA loans require a 580 score for the minimum 3.5% down payment (500–579 with 10% down). Conventional loans require 620, and VA loans have no official minimum though most lenders use 580–620. Pricing improves at 680, 700, 720 and 740.

How many points can credit repair add before a mortgage?

It depends entirely on what is wrong with your reports. Removing an inaccurate collection or correcting a wrongly reported late payment can move a score 20–100 points; paying balances under 30% utilization often adds more. We do not guarantee any specific increase.

Can I get pre-approved while my credit is being repaired?

Usually, yes. Ask any lender for a soft-pull pre-qualification so the check does not affect your score, and send us the result or any denial notice — it tells us exactly which items to prioritize so your file is ready when you apply for real.

Should I pay off collections before applying for a mortgage?

Not always. Some lenders ignore medical collections and small balances; others require paid or settled collections over a threshold. Paying a collection without a plan can also refresh the account's activity. We map this out item by item during your free review.
